MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS

Monthly Bank Draft Plan - We offer our members the option of having their monthly dues automatically withdrawn from their checking accounts. More information is available at the Front Desk.

Annual Payment Plan - An option of making one lump-sum yearly payment is also available.

REFUND POLICY

Membership fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Refunds on programs will be made if the YMCA has to cancel the Program. Other refunds for programs will be given as follows:

80% Refund before the first class
50% Refund after the first class
No refund after the second class

VISITORS PASS GUIDELINES

A guest of a member who wants to use the facility for an occasional visit may purchase a visitor's pass.

1. All visitors between the ages of 13-15 must be sponsored by a member.
2.Passes are not sold after 4:00 p.m. M-Th
3.Members may not sponsor more than (3) guests at any one time.
4.Members are responsible for the actions of their guest during visit of facility.
5.An out of area visitor may purchase a guest pass any time without a member present. Drivers license required.

Fees:
Youth (18 and under) $5
Adult (19+) $8
Family (husband, wife, and children 21 and under) $10

YMCA COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE

YMCA of Kanawha Valley allows flexibility in fees to assure that no one is turned away for inability to pay. Your YMCA is here to serve people of all ages, backgrounds, abilities and incomes. This YMCA is community-based and believes that its programs and services should be available to everyone. YMCA of Kanawha Valley offers a sliding fee schedule that is designed to fit each individual’s financial situation. This position is made possible by contributions from donors to the Spirit of the Valley and the United Way. Contact the Membership Office at (304) 340-3540 for more information.

MPORTANT YMCA INFORMATION

Clothing - Shoes and shirts must be worn at all times inside the facility. Please follow all separate dress code guidelines posted in the building (i.e. Health and Fitness Center, Pool area.)

Towels - Towels are available at the Health & Fitness Desk free of charge.

Parking - Members and participants are welcome to take advantage of free parking. Please drive carefully and follow all signs and arrows posted in the parking lot.

Photographs & Videos - The YMCA reserves the right to use any photographs or videos taken during “Y” programs for marketing and advertising purposes.

YMCA Child Information - Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, who is required to be in the YMCA and accessible to YMCA staff at all times. Fitness equipment is available to all members 13 years of age and older. Children ages 13-16 must complete a “Fitness Orientation” session to learn to properly use the equipment in the Fitness Center.
